PCOS and BCP - 03/16/15 09:38 PM
Hello,
I'm trying to determine whether or not I should take the BCP portion of the protocol. I want to, but I'm uncertain of how it will affect me and if it will be helpful.
I have PCOS, but not the "typical" PCOS, meaning I do not have a problem maintaining a weight within "normal" BMI ranges and I do not experience hair growth. However, I do deal with infertility, as I do not cycle on my own, and even with progesterone injections, I do not produce much of a withdrawal bleed.
I've heard that women with PCOS don't always do well on BCP. I also have small breasts, and I've heard that small-breasted women with PCOS often struggle with breast feeding in general.
Any experiences or resources that would help me discern this would be greatly appreciated!
