Does anyone know why we can't take any herbs while on the protocol? I'm just curious. I just went back on the protocol after my adoption failed.

Which herbs are you wanting to take? A lot of herbs can interfere with milk production.

I was just wondering why we can't take fenugreek, goat's rue or any of the other galactagogues while on the protocol.

The reason is that while you are on the birth control pill/domperidone combination it's sort of like reving a car engine, applying the gas and the brake at the same time. The effect will not be greater by adding more "gas" in the form of herbs. But we do like to use them when we start pumping becasue that is when they are most effective.
