Hi, I have a question about when to really give it my all. I am making about 2 - 3 oz of milk a day. I have a hard time pumping at work. So I get in about 5 - 6 pumps a day and if I wake up in the middle of the night I will pump. Twins are due the middle of Oct. Should I make a big effort to wake up a couple of times during the night in September and pump? Will that increase my milk? Would just increasing the pumping time thru September do the trick? Thanks, Becky

I think 5-6 pumping sessions a day is fine for now. I have never pumped more than 6 times a day, and I have done well with my supply. As for waking in the middle of the night, that all depends on your preference. Do you want as much of a supply as is possible? Then you probably should start night pumpings sometime in September. But it's all up to you.
Keep us posted on how it's going, and what you decide to do.
