What dose of domperidone are you currently taking?

I was taking 20 mg 4 times a day. The adoption just failed. Our second failed adoption! What should I do for the pain of not pumping or should I continue pumping without the herbs? We've been on the list 2 years.

Dear M&M,

I'm so sorry to hear this news. Please know that your "angel" is out there, waiting for you. I have seen this many times. The agencies tend to work much harder after a failed adoption and so your little one could be right around the corner.

At this point how much are you pumping? You can decrease by one session every 3 or 4 days and that should help to calm things down. You can also start to wean off the domperidone and bring it down to 20 mg 3 times per day for this week and then 10 mg 4 times per day the following week and we'll see how you do.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Best,

Thank you for your encouragement! I was pumping 7-8 times per day but just getting droplets. I'm having a hard time motivating myself to pump now. I appreciate your suggestions!
