I will soon be beginning the regular protocol for a future adoption and had a question...I will be on the protocol at least 6 months. (probably longer) I have heard from some sources the Yasmin is the best to take and from other sources that the Ortho 1/35 yields the best "supply" results for the regular protocol. From everyone's knowledge here, which is correct? Thanks so much! Sandra

Hi Sandra,

Congratulations on your impending arrival! We recommend Ortho 1/35 for the regular protocol.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Which bcp do you recommend for the menopause protocol (I've had a complete hysterectomy)?

One more thing, I don't see the Ortho 1/35 on the Global Drug site and I know my GYN won't write a script for it. Is the Yasmin as good as the Ortho?

Hi,

Yes. Yasmin is a good alternative but as with any medication, it's important to check with your doctor first so that you can be monitored and educate at the same time.

Best,
