OP kitayhouse newbie K Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 6	I have begun the accelerated protocol as I have until the end of August. I am currently taking Microgestin and Dom. After about 3 weeks now I have fullness in my breasts. In reading these boards I am confused about which birth control to take. Some are saying definitely Yasmin, others say Ortho and no one mentions Microgestin. I wonder why Ortho is recommended along with the added progesterone if needed when you can get the higher level of progesterone already in either Yasmin or Microgestin. Any help is definitely appreciated here as I don't have a great deal of time and I don't want to waste any more since time is not on my side right now

And according to Lenore they are recommending Ortho 1/35 over Yasmin now. I am right in thinking the microgestin is a mini pill? Nona extra helpful experienced member Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 1,176	Yes Microgestin is okay. It has the same kind of estrogen and progestrone that the ortho has. You are on the right track. Lalle its not the mini pill. Though its easy to get the 2 mixed up Adoptive mommy to 4 , Last 2 adopted nursed. Youngest nursed till she was 5! Raising 2 grandbabies, as infants they were raised on donor breast milk
