My little one is now six weeks old and having a good growth spurt. I have no idea if she is getting enough, and I supplement her 2 or 3 oz every few days. I am out of town and haven't had a weight check recently. How do I tell?
Also, I always feel like I'm just barely keeping up with her. I take blessed thistle and fenugreek 3@3x a day, eat steel cut oatmel for breakfst and drink lots of water. Anything else?

Irma I think you are doing great. If she is satisfied nursing on demand and gaining weight she is getting enough. You can gauge a breastfed baby on how many wet diapers they have each day.

sounds like your doing good. You can always add domperidone if your not using it already

With all of my bio's I would get really worried between 6 and 8 weeks. It sounds like you are doing fine. You are probably past the swollen over-flowing breast stage and have now entered the constant worry if she's getting enough state, wink. Just remember, like was already said, what goes in must come out. I'm sure you're doing fine, the worst thing for breastfeeding is stressing about breastfeeding. Relax, enjoy your baby. And, just be aware of whats coming out, and that will tell you whats going in.

Congrats!
