I am on the accelerated protocol for 2 months and began pumping. Can anyone tell me the length of time before I begin to see any drops. I have been pumping for about 1 week now and nothing. I am following the protocol to the letter.

Hi, when you say to the letter I presume you mean now with the suggested pumping schedule amount of herbs and dom., eating oatmeal and getting plenty of fluids. correct? Are you doing the breast massage and compression? That helped me when I was pumping to induce. Even though I had breastfed my bio children I hadn't ever pumped. So I needed to learn how to give milk to the pump. Something that helped was thinking about the baby and smelling baby smells I had some lotion and such that I had bought to be prepared so I would smell that. Which pump are you using? Some women just take a little longer to see milk and some see it right away just hang in there it will pay off.

Sometimes it take 2 weeks to get the BCP out of your system. If after 2 weeks of pumping and you still do not get drops... I would suggest going back on the protocol for a longer time. I am one of those women that 30 or 60 days did not work on. IF you are getting a child.. you can always us a suplimenter at the breast to give your breasts extra time on the bcp.
