I am currently taking 4-20mg dom per day along with the Fenugreek and Blessed Thistle and pumping.

My question is: What can I take for a allergies or possible sinuse infection that will not effect my milk supply?

I was goofy crazy and have taken Ty*enol Allergy Multi-Symptom for the last couple of days because I just couldn't breath through my nose any longer and needed to do something besides hot tea and hot showers. When I pumped last night and today I am only getting drops now. Please tell me I don't have to start over on the protocol.

We have been placed with a baby now and I am at my wits end not knowing what to do. frown

Thank you for any help! smile

Do not take antihistamines they will dry you out. I use natural remedies but sometimes they can be drying as well. If you are looking for OTC remedies I would contact an LC to see what is safe.
Breathing steam with a bit of eucalyptus always helped me. I also have used sinus oil from my local health food store too with no adverse effects.

vics under the nose might help. But we usually have to just suffer though it as not to compromise our milk supplies. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

I don't think you'll have to start all over again. My experience has been that certain medicines will dry you out while they are going through your system. It should pick up again. Of course, I am basing this on using benadryl just at night, not continuously.

Hope that helps,
Nancy

Just wanted to thank you for your replies and let you know that after a few days my milk came back up. I had only taken 4 capsules. I won't be doing that again.
