Hi- Jenny here again on day 17 of pumping on the accelerated protocol. I am seeing a slow but steady increase in production. I'm only making a little over 1 ounce per day total, but that is a huge improvement over last week, when I was only seeing drops. Every day there is more, so I am encouraged.
But now for my question. I am having trouble with my older Pump in Style. It has great suction, but for some reason, little drops of milk are leaking back onto the shield, despite the fact that I try to lean forward during pumping. This means that I have to stop every few minutes to pour those drops back down into the bottle so that they don't end up all over me rather than where they belong.
I have thought that perhaps this could be a flange size issue, but I am a 34 C, so it seems that the medium flanges that I am using *should* be the right size. So that may or may not be the problem. Any ideas? Thanks so much!
