I have a client I have been treating for 2 months with a nipple lesion.
I have cultured it and treated the organisms found. It is now organism free but the lesion will not heal. Any suggestions to help heal this lesion?

Thanks.

I would suggest that you email Lenore or Dr Jack Newman directly because this is really a medical question for a professional. They are both very good about answering emails.

There is a home remedy that has worked well for quite a few moms that I have worked with. Add 1 tsp. salt to 1 cup warm water. Make sure that the salt is completely dissolved. Then soak the affected nipple for 5 minutes. Repeat throughout the day. My moms reported that using this remedy was very soothing, and they noticed that healing began right away.
