Hey Nona, thanks for the info on the website. Some of those women are nuts on their prices. They say they aren't in it to make money then ask for 25-40 thousand dollars. That is just crazy IMO. If I could spend 40, I'd drop a few more thousand and go with the security of an agency.

Anyway, it sure is depressing to see how much it cost. Just thought I would vent.

Not all surrogates cost that much. Ours that we had was only 4,000. We have a chance at a baby next month if the grandmother doesn't insist on taking it. If she does. We are talking with another surrogate for 4,000. There are honestly some that are not in it for the money. This one we are talking to ... her husband is in the army and she has full insurance. She just wants to have a baby for a family. I know how hard it is... Believe me.. Lenore has heard me cry on her shoulder over it. Oh by the way.. both of my surrogates were independant surrogacies... no agencies


Adoptive mommy to 4 , Last 2 adopted nursed. Youngest nursed till she was 5! Raising 2 grandbabies, as infants they were raised on donor breast milk smile

oh there are a few on there that are very low fee GS. I saw one for 8000 and one for 4000... I think
