Hi
I am 5 weeks into my relactation journey. My best friend is adopting in May and hasn't had children or have the schedule to induce lactation. I am trying to get a supply back but my youngest daughter is 8. I was getting random drops at 10 days in and as of last week more steady drops and this week I am pumping ml's each pump session. I wasn't aware of the protocol for inducing and just started pumping before my Dr who is also a lacation consultant told me about it. So I started domperidone a couple weeks ago. I am really looking for some encouragement that I can build a supply beyond ml's. Being I won't be nursing her babies, I need to rely exclusively on a breast pump. I am currently using a medela pump in style.
Thanks
Amanda

Hi Amanda. Have you considered doing the protocol for 4 months? That would mean taking the birth control pill and domperidone without pumping for 4 months and then stopping the bcp and pumping. I think you will get better results by doing that.
