Hi
My name is Deborah Martin and I have a wonderful 4 month old son named David. I had the most terrible time breastfeeding, including all possible medical problems (ie pancreatitis, gall bladder and breast complications). I have now reached the other side and can breastfeed with ease in most positions including lying down and feeding my son while I sleep. It has become the most important and beautiful part of our day and night. I would like to offer my support and time to any mom having problems breastfeeding on the West Island and surrounding areas around Montreal. I am available to come either to their home or have them in mine to assist them as much as I can with their problems. When I went to Lenore and Carole's breastfeeding clinic at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, and their Mother-baby support group, every one there offered me time, support, encouragement and a non judgemental attitude. I went there feeling that I would never breastfeed my son ever again. They have helped me to continue and enjoy the experience of breastfeeding and they are there for me for any new experiences with my son. I would like the opportunity to pass on and share what I have learned and experienced to other moms. I want to help them through their breastfeeding problems, so they can discover the overwhelming connection I feel with my son. I will be away from my home from July 7th to July 28th, but after that I will be home and checking my email. If you would like my help or you just want to talk, please feel free to contact me at the following: dak_mar@alcor.concordia.ca

Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Hi Rosario:

As I do not have twins, I have no experience breastfeeding them, but Lenore and Carole Dobrich have always told me that as my son's need for milk increased so would my milk supply. During all of his growth spurts and increased need for milk, my supply has tended to keep up with his needs. More than likely your breasts will make as much milk as your twins need, the law of supply and demand you know, the more they demand, the more we are able to supply. I would also suggest you check this out with Lenore as well as she will have more experience with other women and their twins.

Good luck and let me know how it goes. <img src="http://www.asklenore.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

Deborah
