Hi All!

I am so happy I could just burst! After a little scare on thursday (brown spotting), I was really nervous going in today, expecting the worst. Well, the first thing my Dr. decided to do was try to hear the heartbeat, as I am almost 10 weeks -- heard it right away! The heartbeat is good and strong, and going between 160-170! I started crying and almost made the Dr. cry, we were both so happy. Then she went ahead and did a sonogram and confirmed that everything is perfect, the baby measured 9w6d, right on target! I am absolutely in heaven right now and am praying everything continues to go this well. She did tell me that after you hear the heartbeat there is less then a 1% chance of a miscarriage, so even though I am not quite to 12 weeks, she said chances are pretty slim anything will happen at this point.

I want to thank everyone for their support on this board, I don't know what I would do without all the encouragement and kind words, you guys are the best.

I will keep you updated, my next appointment is July 29!

Take care,

Barbi
