Hi,
I totally understand how scared you must be. I give Heparin every day to my patients. I am not as familiar with Fragmin.
When I did IVF, I took a baby ASA per day, and bruised really easily etc. With you on both, I would say..use a very soft toothbrush, electric razor only to shave your legs etc..better yet..just go hairy..and if he says not to pick anything up I wouldn't, esp if it is over 5 lbs. Are you also on progesterone suppositories? Hang in there, alot of women spot and I even knew of one lady who had acutal periods while pregnant and she had a healthy baby. Hang in there,,Cathy

Hi SG,

I started out on fragmin and then switched to heparin, simply for the cost. If memory serves (it's been since May since i used Fragmin), the fragmin comes in preloaded syringes, unlike heparin which comes in viles and you have to load the needles yourself. The fragmin was $250 for a ten day supply,vs. heparin, which is $100 for a one month supply, and about $15 for needles. It didn't matter to my Dr. which one I used, as long as the heparin was made by one specific company.

Thanks,

Barbi

HI Barbi!

I read ur post & THANKS a LOt a big burden has lifted from my heart.
I'll be 3 months tomorrow & my sono's show that the baby is exactly growing right to the date of my conception.
I've been having a LOT of heat issues though:( God Do I feel HOT! I feel so much heat in my tummy at times that I think of putting cold towels on my belly!
Is it normal? I've been throwing up a bit & so dont think I'm getting reqd. 8 glasses a day is it coz of that?
I'll ask my Doc when I go for my checkup on Jan 5!
