I haven't posted here since having bloodwork done after my second m/c with showed a low protein C level. And at 42 with no successful pregnancies I am currently 4wk.5 days and scared to death. My RE does not feel it necessary to even test for progestrone but has asked me to take low dose aspirin. I have few symptoms, sore bbs, fatigue and abdominal pressure. I don't know how to calm myself. Anyone with words of wisdom or suggestions would be greatfully appreciated. Michelle

Michelle,

Congrats! All I can tell you is to take care of yourself. Do those things that calm and relax you. I enjoy a cup of herb tea and to create something, (scrapbooking or homemade cards.) Try to keep yourself busy so you don't have time focusing on your fears. Sorry I couldn't have been more helpful. Hang in there and let us know how things go for you!

Hugs,

Michelle, ask your Dr. to humor you and prescribe progesterone suppositories. Even if he doesn't think it will help it certainly won't hurt and will ease your mind. If he won't, find another doctor. I know it sounds harsh but this is your body and your baby. If your Dr. won't help you out (like running tests or giving suppositories) maybe he isn't the one for you. (((Hugs))) Laurie
