I found a Medela Pump-In-Style on Craig's list for $100. The woman said she used it for 5 months and that it was like new. But on E-Bay they seem to have used ones and some were bidding $51.

Does the motor wear out significantly after, say, six months? Is it something we want to avoid - getting a used one vs. new?

My NICU nurse friend has a Ameda for rent but I saw the post on this board that they don't have good suction compared to the Medela. So I'm still on the search for one.

My 6-weeks date to start pumping is July 31st.
