Hi: My surrogate just had some great fear of pre-term labor. It's because she had a couple of episodes of Braxton-Hicks and she's only 23 weeks along. I certainly understand that but she's young and healthy and looks really good so I would expect her to carry to term.
But it brought up a good question for me. I plan to start pumping July 31st which is six weeks before our due date of September 11th.
What should I do if the baby comes earlier? Would I then stop the Yasmin and begin pumping along with breastfeeding?
I better get going on buying the pump so I can be ready.
Thanks,

Hi LD,
I actually went through this and my advice is as follows:
If she goes into preterm labor, discontinue your birth control pill, maintain the domperidone, add the herbs, and immediately begin pumping every 2-3 hours by day and at least once during the night.
The pump most of the ladies have done well with is the Medela Pump in Style. They now have the Advanced version which has many of the features of the new Symphony pump. Also, it's cheaper in the long run to purchase a pump rather than rent.
Hope this helps. Fondly,

Thank you for that great advice. I certainly hope that we get to term.
Next I'm looking on e-bay for the Medela PIS (advanced).
