I really doubt that missing one dose of anything would cause a miscarriage. Think of all the billions of pregancies in the world that don't use any of those meds to stay pregnant.

Hi: I think the same way. Perhaps the only time it might matter is when an egg donor misses an hCG shot that would trigger maturation of the eggs. But the support hormones would already be in her system. Plus normal progesterone levels (crinone) are quite variable. There is a big range of values in the bloodstream of many healthy pregnancies
What did your RE say? Hang in there,

There's no point in crying over spilt milk as they say. So just keep going from here. One thing that concerns me is your SM's compliance. I think a phone call to the RE is in order here.

Thanks for all the replies. This is our first surrogacy journey and I was very scared because she is only 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. We did call the doc and he said it was ok, but she assured us it was a mistake. She has been very sick with a cold and went to bed at 6:00pm, she was going to take her night dose at 10pm, but slept right throught it and woke up at 4:00am and relized she didnt wake up at 10:00. I beleive she is very compitant, and the doctor says it happens to almost everone and not to worry. So I wont. Thanks again.
