The pain from pumping seems to have gotten MUCH better. I still brace for the pain but it doesnt hurt. I guess they are tough now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. I am up to making 18 ounces a day. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Lenore- I read you r story and you said you didnt have to supplement. But in your posts you seem to have had to use the lact aid. At what point did you have to start using it? How long did you nurse without it? I have one ready to use but am still hoping and praying I may not need it. Is it hard for a baby to get used to nursing with a lact-aid if they have been nursing without it for a while? My supply keeps going up and I am up to 18 ounces a day. Does that seem close to maybe being able to make a full supply?

Lenore had a full supply. But Ethan was not a typical baby. She was making 35 ounces a day. But he drank 45. He is a LARGE baby. 90 percent range for his age. I am sure you will have plenty of milk. Not all babies eat like Ethan <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Well, Henry III eats more than Ethan, actually! He is in the 97th percentile... I am trying everyday to get my supply up!

Keep up the good work, Julie!

Aloha,
Christina
