One how do you find midwifes?
Two Does anyone know if there are any in the western part of WI
three Does BCBS inc cover midwifes?

Gale, I would begin by looking in the phone book for midwives. As far as whether bcbs accepts MW's you will have to call them or go to their website. When we had bcbs we had a provider list we worked off of. I guess it just depends on what your plan is.

These days midwives are called Doulas and are basically labor and delivery coaches. You can find one here http://www.dona.org/
