I have a daughter via surrogacy who was born 9/7/95 and I induced lactation in order to breastfeed her. I had a great deal of success and she has received nothing but breastmilk. We have a donor giving us 4-6 ounces a day and the rest she gets from me. I was on bcps for 6 months, adding dom for the last 6-8 weeks and then I started pumping for about 2 months before she was born. I was getting up to 16 ounces a day when she was born. I supplemented her using a lact-aid with my previously frozen milk for the first 4 1/2 months or so and then we moved on to donor milk since my frozen stash ran out. We were very luck to find a donor locally who was willing to pump a little extra for my daughter.

We're looking at doing another surrogacy starting in August or September, so I'll be getting back on bcps to start the protocol again and I hope to have even better success the next time (assuming our surrogate gets pregnant).
