Taper down...I went to 40 mg for a week and then stopped.

Is there no chance of another adoption? Why do you have to stop?

Hi Deborah,

I just answered your other post and was very sorry to see this one.

Most of us have been where you are right now. The best thing I can tell you is to pause. Do not change anything. Take a deep breath and take the time to grieve your loss because it is a loss. Do you have a counsellor or clergy that you can talk to?

It's also the weekend and offices are closed. On Monday you can call the adoption agency or facilitator and explain the situation. It has been my experience that when something like this occurs they try doubly hard to help. Every woman who contacted me with a similar situation did end up with a child.

I know it's hard to stay positive right now. It's not a time to make decisions. Take time for yourself.

Best,
