Hello, Barbi. I found this thread searching for info on sticky platelet syndrome. I am just curious about what state you live in. I have read some information about SPS that questions the theory and that notes patients being diagnosed with it are basically only in the Detroit, MI or Dallas, TX areas. FYI-I have been diagnosed with SPS and I question the diagnosis. I have also been diagnosed with MTHFR and APS (Antiphospholipid syndrome). I happen to live in Michigan. Thank you for your input in advance.

Hi Donna,

I'm from Montreal, Canada and from my experience the problem is farily wide spread. I've received emails from all over the world.

If you have SPS and APS, then you'll want to take it seriously. How many pregnancy losses have you experienced at this point? Have you tried heparin and baby aspirin? Have you seen this article by Dr. Roger Bick? http://www.asklenore.info/miscarriage/print/bickp.html

It's fairly comprehensive in terms of APS.

Warmest regards,

Hi Donna,

WOW, it's been a while since I logged on to this board! I live in Texas, right out of Dallas, Dr. Bick is at Presby in Dallas.

All the best!
