I talked to her in mid-afternoon... she missed the call wtih her pastor, she was hoping he would call back. She is really paranoid about having another abruption, she went all day without going pee, afraid to see blood in there. I can't say as I blame her, I've survived an abruption, and it was a big reason we moved to adoption. She was unconsious for 3 days, was in rough shape. Anyway, I left her a message at 8pm, but I she might have already been in bed, she's been going early lately. Her apt was rescheduled for 8am tomorrow (Tues) morning. Hopefully we get a date at the very least, but I'm really hoping they just deliver her. There really isn't any reason to keep this going.

I asked her if maybe she was this upset because she is having second thoughts, and she assured me she is not, she is terrified of dying.

Not going pee is not good for her at all. She just needs to tell the doctor to deliver her. SH e shouldn't have to suffer like this.

I know ... frown frown I am hoping she is honest with the dr tomorrow and it gets done. Of course I'm excited to see our daughter, but at the same time I can't stand seeing her like this... crying on the phone...I just feel awful for her..

Yes and no, lol. Turns out it was a med student who said she had to have a c-sec, which is why the actual dr hasn't scheduled it yet, she doesn't need one. Which is nice, I am glad she doesn't have to go through that. Also means we can go 2 more weeks until her official due date comes... sigh...

So did that help to calm her some?
Will you get to be there during the birth?

Wow! What an answer to prayer!! I know the wait may be a bit longer but it also means a better chance at a fully developed, healthy baby. Congrats and I hope the time passes very quickly for you cause I sure can say the last week has gone by so very very s l o w l y for me. Does she have another appt for next week?

She goes to the dr 2x a week.

Yes, my hubby and I both get to be there during the birth, she made us promise not to stare at her nether regions, but is happy to have us there, lol.

I'm very relieved that she doesn't have to have a c-sec... of course I'm feeling impatient, LOL, but it will be worth it in the end. And, this way we get to be present for the birth. She said Nick can cut the cord (all of our bio births were emergency situations so we have had 3 and he has yet to cut a cord), so he is excited.

My milk is doing great, I won't need the SNS at all to start I don't think. Hopefully she builds up my supply so I won't need it at all, that would be so great !! I am refusing to allow bottles into my house, my girlfriend was going to get me some and I told her no, LOL. I don't want the temptation, when (if) things get frustrating and upsetting, I want to hang in there this time. With my eldest, turning 6 in Aug, I went 6 months, but the last 2 months were a battle. I had SO much milk with her, I would overflow full size bottles. But, I got pregnant when she was 4 months old... I guess that changes the taste or something??? not sure, but I battled until she was 6 months old then I don't know who was crying louder, but I dug up one of those free "samples" of formula that come in the mail, never nursed her again. THen with my youngest I only did it about 4 months, he was preemie and so sleepy... every day it was a battle to get him to eat. Then, I couldn't get a drop with the pump, and didn't think he was getting any, then my nipples bled, which freaked me out and I quit right then and went to another of those free "samples". So, this time I'm not allowing any free samples or anything to serve them in into my house! LOL

Yes, she is much more calm today, a complete turn around. She's really doing great. She would like the baby to stay in her room, and for us to be there to take care of her. She told me she thinks its great I'm nursing, and told me I could start in the hospital, I don't know if I will really get the chance that soon or not, I'm not getting my hopes up for it.

Yes, this is many many prayers answered. laugh
