Hi,

I am now 162 days into what was the accelerated protocol but I guess it almost qualifies as the regular protocol now. We are all ready to be matched with a birthmom and are now waiting. I have several options in this and am hoping something will happen soon. We are looking to adopt an AA infant boy if possible.

At least now I feel that no matter what; I'll have had a decent amount of time on the protocol even if a match happened tomorrow.

I am taking Yasmin and domperidone 10mg (90mg a day)and still feel fine. No weight gain/water retention or much else except for annoying leg cramps that seem to be better lately (probably the hot weather)

Please everyone send good thoughts and prayers that it will happen soon. I'm spending this wait time trying to take stock of all the things I should be thankful for. (and packing as we move into our new house on August 22nd)

Patience

Mom of bio kids Joel 22, Elliot 19, Marya 13 and Talitha 5 (adopted from Haiti at age 10 months) Hoping for a match with an infant under a year from Children's Services starting in early 2009.

oh hon.. I know just how you feel. I have 3 adopted children we adopted at birth. One surrogate daughter who is now 3 and presently waiting to find out if we are matching with an AA baby that is not get born. I just try to keep busy.. Doing the nursery and such. I went off the protocol when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is now cancer free. I had my mammo and I was in the clear. So I went back on the protocol.I to have been on the protocol about 5 months. Waiting is not easy. Lots of baby vibes coming your way.

Adoptive mommy to 4 , Last 2 adopted nursed. Youngest nursed till she was 5! Raising 2 grandbabies, as infants they were raised on donor breast milk smile
