i have poisen ivy and am nursing a 2 year old. my experience with prednisone last year was that it cut down my milk supply drastically. was it my imagination? any concrete evidence about this? since my little one is two i'm tempted to take it anyway because the poisen ivy is such a drag. thanks, nancy

According to what I looked up it states that there is no effect on lactation and is safe for a nursing Mother to use.
