Well I am on day 9 or so of pumping 8-10 times per day and I've been on the Dom since 2/25. I started out with just a few drops of clear sticky liquid. Turned to drops of milk in about 3 days or so. I am now getting about 7cc per day which is a huge improvement. Granted it's not alot, but it's some! I collect it in a fine tipped syringe and feed it to my son. It seems to be helping his constipation, even that small amount. Go figure! Anyway, my breasts are feeling fuller and heavier and from time to time I even feel a little sensation that feels like let down! Yay!

So that is our update! Hopefully in a few weeks I can tell you how many ounces I'm pumping, even if it's just one!!

Hi, (tryingagain3 here, can't sign in)

I am now getting milk falling into the bottles! Yay!! Every time now as well! I am getting about 10-15cc per day now. I'm on day 12. Yippee!! So I've been giving my son the approx 2tsp per day. The annoying thing is that I know I have more milk in my breasts, but I am not responding well to the pump. I have to pump, then hand express, pump, hand, pump, hand and I still feel as though there is milk and 15 mins later can hand express and shoot it across the room! I ordered the 80cc Medela bottles so I will feel more accomplished when the bottle is filling up! LOL!

Congratulations! You're on your way. Your milk supply should build and build. Try pumping for at least 20 minutes straight. And when the Limerick Pump is available, try to get one.

Also, see if you can track down the flexible breast shields by medela www.medela.com

Best,
