I hope someone here can help me...

I have been using the protocol to induce lactation. Started domperidone & provera (I'm 39) on March 21st. Received our match call on May 23rd, and started pumping that day. Stopped the provera and started herbs the next day. The birth mom went into labor today, June 3rd, and decided to parent. So, now I don't know what to do. I have been taking herbs and pumping for 11 days (including overnight).

Can I go back to the provera and stop the herbs, since I have no idea how long it will take for our next match? Or, do I have to continue pumping and herbs now that I have started them?

Of course we are heartbroken about the baby, first and foremost. I also am exhausted from pumping, though, and dread the thought of doing it for months on end with no baby in sight.

Help!

I'm sorry that happened to you. Yes, you can go back on the Provera and dom and stop pumping. That will continue to build your breast tissue until another match comes. Good luck!
