 I need some help with supply issues.... - 12/22/03 05:55 PM
Hi! I am new to this board, but would love some much needed help. I have tried motilium/domperdone in the past and have only tried 40 mg a day, it really did nothing for me. I have heard that you need to take 80 mg a day instead to really see results. I am now doing it again, only I don't see much of a result if any with just doing the 40 mg a day. How do I go from 40 mg to 80 mg a day? How do I evenly space them out throughout the day? I am taking herbs to help with this, I take fenugreek and blessed thistle (three tablets--twice a day) is this enough or do I need to take more throughout the day? I heard about doing brewer's yeast, how do I use this? I heard you need to drink lots of water, I hate the taste of water (always have) can I use Gatorade instead and how many glasses do you need to drink to make a difference throughout the day? I have a starter supplemental nursing system and have tried this a couple of times, but when I use it he seems to choke on the tube and then from there he hates using it again. I had a hard time trying to make the flow go once I was ready for him to start to suck. I think he knows that wasn't all mom. Could you help me with this problem? Do I need to pump with all this other stuff? If I do how much time do I spent pumping a day and how long do I need to pump? I just bought a pump, it is a White River hospital grade, I need to get the tubing/bottles to use with it, does anyone know where I can get this? I also have bad allergies whether is be seasonal, environmental or food and I usually take Benadryl does this affect the supply of the milk? I try not to use it too much, but I can get pretty miserable without it. What else I can take to help out without ruining my supply? I thank you for all the help in advance.
