Does aspirin affect the ability to produce milk? I take about three regular tablets per day.

Hi Theresa,

Aspirin is not recommended for breastfeeding mothers due to it's association with Reye's syndrome in children. Thomas Hale, Ph.D recommends replacing it with Ibuprofin or Tylenol.

May I ask why you are taking 3 a day?
