Hello,
I'm a French young (almost 32) woman, with an long and sad story about medical issues more than 7 years ago. Briefely, I had to have my womb removed due to tumors. My ovaries were very damaged by all the surgeries I had.
With my wonderful partner, we decided to find 2 wonderful women to help us. We found them in Canada, and we, for the first time, were lucky : our surro mom is pregnant on the first trial! We cannot say everything is won now, because we are ending the second month, but we begin to think about everything that should be done.
I couldn't give anything physically for my baby, but I would like to create a specific bond through breastfeeding. I went on the LLL website and found this one.
So I'm here in order to prepare this induced breastfeeding. I know it will be difficult to find help here in France, so that is why I'm here, with this specific link with our future little Canadian.

Thank you,
Pimprenelle

Good luck to you! I wonder if it might be easier to get domperidone in France than it is in the US? I would start looking into it as soon as possible!

Congrats! I started the protocol while living in Germany. It wasn't a problem. My doctor was fully informed and I got a prescription for the birth control, but ordered the Domperidone myself. Other than this website I did everything on my own, without support. I just finished nursing my daughter (also via surro) for the past 13 months exclusively (without formula), stockpiled my deep freezer, donated 500 oz to local twins, and lost 25 lbs in the process! Ha! It exceeded my expectations!

Thank you very much! I'm just back from a week of vacation (the last one before the birth, I hope! As I'm sparing all my days for next summer), so I couldn't answer before.
I know well the domperidone as I took it when I was sick when I was a child. I will check if I can have it without any prescription.
The problem is that I don't have a reliable doctor to whom I can talk about that. But I will find it smile

Go to "In House Pharmacy" on the internet.
www.inhousepharmacy.biz

We all get our Domperidone for there. You do not need a prescription.

I don't know, but there may be different rules in France. It also may be easier to get in Europe. If you can find a doctor, see how much it will cost you with a prescription in France.

The keypoint for me is to have access to a doctor who will follow me. After that, the Domperidone will be reimbursed by the social insurance completely. But as surrogacy is illegal in France... I should find a way to have a doctor who will not be against it.
