Hi;
I just got my Nov/Dec 04 issue of Mothering magazine and to my dismay on page 31 there is a half page write up entitled "feds dry up flow of galactogogue". It goes on to say that the FDA is warning against possible cardiac problems and even sudden death, yeah right in regards to domperidone! It appears that these problems seem to have occurred in high dose intravenous use of the drug. It seems to me that the FDA will do whatever necessary to stop women from breastfeeding and increase their dependence on formula!!! It also says that they have issued an import alert looking for attempts to import the drug so that it can be detained and refused admission. It also goes on to say that as a result US sources for domperidone are rapidly diminishing. I'm worried that I won't be able to get it now.!!!

I've been worrying about this too. What happens if I try to order some? Does it get returned? Do I just lose my money?? Do I have to drive to Canada? I want to start the protocal and I'm waiting to figure out where I'll get domperidone.

This statement from the FDA is a couple of months old now. And shipments are still arriving from global drug, so I wouldn't be super stressed about it. US sources are drying up, that's true, but overseas sources are still sending it, stamping it "non-restricted pharmaceutical" and getting it through pretty fine.

I am trying to locate the best place to order domperidone. Can anyone give me a website that has the best prices. I am hoping to start in the next month or so the protocol and would like to get a supply started just in case availablity stops.

Try Global Drug That's where I got mine and I had it in about a week!
