I am on the Accelerated protocol..I am taking Yasmin and 20 mg of dom 4 times a day. I was wondering if it would help taking 2 or 1and half pills of the yasmin and then take 12 or 16 pills of the dom. for the last week. then stop the yasmin and take 20mg of dom. per day while pumping As anyone done this if so what was the outcome Lisa

lisa, I think it is wise to follow the protocol exactly how it is set out. There has been a lot of research put into developing the protocol and it is designed to bring about the best results possible. More is not always better when it scomes to medications. My advice is follow it as it is including the pumping schedule when you get to that point and you will find the results amazing. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Lalle is right. You don't want to mess with the protocol. Adding more estrogen can be dangerous. Not a good thing for your body.

Hi Lisa,
I realize that there are other websites with lots of other information but when you follow the protocol as written, you're following the recommendations of the authors who invented it. It's dangerous to increase any of the medications without medical supervision. You put yourself at risk for a host of problems, the most obvious being a blood clot. Increasing the domperidone to such a high amount would put you at risk for cardiac problems. It's a case of too much of a good thing can actually be bad for you.
Warmest regards,
