It seems as if my 13 week old DD has a problem nursing when I'm not at home and she's not laying on her boppy or other support pillow. Today we were at the park for a birthday party, and she was having an awful time nursing while I was holding her in my arms. Her latch is still good, but the angle at which she latches on to my breast is different. Could this affect her ability to draw the milk out? Perhaps she can't access the same milk ducts that she does when she nurses on her boppy? It just doesn't "feel" the same to me.

I've never had a great milk supply, and this is my first child (out of three) that I have BF exclusively without supplementation. So, I'm always concerned about meeting her needs.

Does anyone have advice? Thanks in advance!

You could try to roll up a blanket like a pillow to place under her and see if that helps.
