I'd think braless is good. I couldnt' do it, though. The rubbing of the shirt on my bare nipples hurt. I needed the bra to protect my sore nipples.

Lenore extra helpful experienced member L Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 1,347 Canada	It all depends on your anatomy. If you're big breasted you need support and the underwire bras are great for that. For medium B-C cup, it's up to you. Personally, I preferred the support especially when lactating because the bra also provided a measure of protection from leakage as it held the nursing pads in place.
