Hi, I was just wondering which is better for us...supportive bra or no bra at all and why. I am trying to do everything by the book to increase my success rate. I know, I'm OCD! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Thanks,

Michele, RNC--Wife of Steve, mother of adopted son, Nick, who is 9 now and waiting to start all over with the next one!

I found that my breasts grew more when I was in looser clothes and a less restrictive bra. I'd think braless is good. I couldnt' do it, though. The rubbing of the shirt on my bare nipples hurt. I needed the bra to protect my sore nipples.

It all depends on your anatomy. If you're big breasted you need support and the underwire bras are great for that. For medium B-C cup, it's up to you. Personally, I preferred the support especially when lactating because the bra also provided a measure of protection from leakage as it held the nursing pads in place. Everything should be 100% cotton to prevent yeast/infections etc.

Best,
