Hi,
I'm new here and SOON to be adopting again. I was originally going to just use the Lactaid and be content with the nursing experience but after doing some reading I REALLY want to make some milk! smile Our birthmom is expecting 1/10. I will be taking the domperidone and BCP as soon as I receive them. Is it crazy to be starting the protocol this late?

Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks,
Debbie

One more thing...Is there any harm or good in taking blessed thistle and fengureek now instead of waiting until after the BCP?
Thanks,
Debbie

No, it is not crazy to start the protocol now. You just do the accelerated protocol while nursing with supplement in the lact-aid. Once you stop the bcp add your herbs. You still nurse with the lact-aid and can pump or express after feedings but you don't have to. The herbs will be wasted if you take them now.

I'm going to begin the accelerated protocol as well. I see that Ortho 1/35 is now recommended. Where is this obtainable and do you need a prescription for it? I've explored Inhouse Pharmacy...they have Yasmin but not Ortho 1/35.

Any pharmacy or ordering ideas from anyone (keeping in mind I'm from the U.S.)?

Thanks so much,
Hope

I got a script from my doctor and ordered mine through a Canadian pharmacy. Its way cheaper than getting it in the states

Some women just seem to have a better out come with ortho than yasmin. You can use yasmin if you like. IF you don't feel any changes after a month you can then switch to ortho 1/35
