I've been pumping with a PISA and symphony for about a week now, every 2-3 hours during the day and every 3-4 hours at night. My milk seems to have stopped at 10ml every 2 hours for the past 2 days. I would love to have enough milk to EBF my newborn when he/she comes. Due date is 5/21.

Anything else I can do to help increase supply??? I hope so!

Thanks!
Erin

Just keep doing what you're doing. Make sure you are staying hydrated too. How much Dom are you taking?

Thanks, Laurie!! I'm drinking 3liters of fluid per day, so I think I'm well hydrated. I'm taking 30mg of dom 3x/day and 3 fenugreek/blessed thistle 3 times a day. Should I increase the dom?

Would pumping more help at all??

Thanks again!
Erin

Erin,
I would give it a little more time. It sounds like you are doing great. I did eventually increase to 30 mg 4 times a day of dom, but it was when baby was a little older and needing more. You still have plenty of time to get to where you need and remember in those first days baby will only need 1-2 oz every 2 hours. When you have baby, they will do a better job of bringing in the milk.

Thanks, Jennifer

I figured that more time would help...my problem is that they'll probably induce emom the week before her due date, which leaves me with two weeks to possibly get my supply up. I'm pumping as the protocol states...5-7 min, massage, etc, then 5-7 min again.

I just wish there was something else I could do...but I'll keep on keeping on!

Erin
