Danielle was born via scheduled C-section last Friday!! She came out screaming at a whopping 8lbs 4oz with a full head of dark hair (just like her momma). I got her to the breast with in the first hour and she started nursing like a champ!!! I had a dream a few weeks ago that she was nursing, but the reality of it was awesome!! The LC came and checked her latch and positioning and said we looked great.

I was producing 5oz/day when we started. I am know using the Lact-aid to supplement her feedings but am pumping after I feed her to increase my milk supply. I supplement during the day but haven't been using it at night as I don't mind longer feeds to try to up my milk.

I have been suprised how supportive the hospital staff was and have referred them all to the Ask Lenore website for any further questions. Just thought I would report on our progress and thank everyone for sharing their support and experiences.

CONGRATULATIONS Michele. I'm so happy for you. Praying your supply keeps going up and up and your baby girl keeps growing into a beautiful healthy girl.

Once again, congratulations and wishing you all the best. ENJOY motherhood :-)
