I am on day 3 of pumping and doing great (I think). First day I got 2cc's then 1cc then 2cc. Second day I got 2cc then 3cc's then 7cc's. This mornings pumping I got 15cc's!!!! I was so excited! Does this just slowly increase like that or does it "come in" like a post partum mother's milk? Either way, I am so excited to get that much. My DD-5 is also excited. She watches the bottom of the bottle and say's "Mom, more of Sarah's milk is coming out!!!" It is so cute that she is excited.
Thanks in advance.

I can only give you my experience. I just slowly increased over time. I started pumping almost 2 months ago. I started by getting just drops. Then, I was getting 2 ounces a day. After almost 2 months of pumping, I am getting 16 ounces a day. And, it's still increasing. It's not increasing as fast as it was, but, it's still climbing.

Yep Bellaluna is right it will slowly increase it may speed up once the baby is nursing but it doesn't "come in" like when you have given birth.

I was wondering the same thing. I just wish I was getting even 1cc a day! I also get contractions like my uterus is trying to shrink after delivery... I forgot how bad that hurts!

Yep,
My milk slowly increased with my DD as well. She is 7 months old and other than 1 supplement at night, she is EBF. I consider it a miracle to re lactate after a 19 year absence!

Be encouraged, you're doing great!
