I hope to reuse my breast pump that I last used 3 years ago....and was wondering 1) if it was OK to reuse a breast pump and 2) if this particular one was adequate for relactation?

I assume that I should get some new parts such as tubing and other plastic pieces that might have deteriorated. Anything I should be concerned about the motor or suction?

I BF my son for a year and this pump was great back then (and was sold by the lactation consultant at the hospital), but I was wondering if I should invest in an upgrade but of course face the dilemma of paying for a new breast pump and wondering what my supply will be like (ie. the success of relaction).

Any info would be appreciated.
