Is it okay to combine these amounts in the storage bags to freeze? I want to freeze 4-5 oz in each bag. Any insight will be appreciated. Also, I've been pumping for just over a week, should I expect to gradually produce more out of each breast each session as I continue, or plateau at this amount? Thanks again. Copy Link to Clipboard

I noticed the biggest increases in the first 6 weeks of pumping. After that the increases were slower. I froze at the end of each day and finished off a bag when I got to 3 ounces/bag (after about 3 days at first). It is totally fine to do that. mama to 3 beautiful adopted kiddos-Alexa (8), Angie(5), Jaxon (5) and hoping to bf our 4th little one...due March 2010!

Sometimes that is all you will need for a feed, especially in the first month or so. The best way to freeze is to lay the bags flat. My favorite bags are the lansinoh ones. Jennifer
