I followed the accelerated protocol, since I had done the regular protocol only 18 months ago, and.........As of my 23rd day of pumping, I am making 9 ounces a day!! The accelerated protocol gave me a little slower start than the regular, so I was a little nervous there for a while, but things are going nicely now! I was able to exclusively breastfeed my daughter (via surrogacy) for 3 months---I am hoping for at least as much this time for my son. ( I know, I know--but I can dream, cant I ? haha) We are scheduled for induction on August 5th, so at the rate my supply is increasing, I should hopefully be around 12-15 ounces/day. With him being such a better 'expressor' of milk than this pump--I may have enough to feed him right outta the gate! I just wanted to encourage everyone--the protocols really do work well, hang in there, and keep your chin up!!

Way to go! It's so exciting to see the great results, isn't it. Congrats!
