Hi Everyone!

I wanted to write a quick note and let everyone know that Brooke Lynnae arrived at 2:15pm on January 22nd. She is absolutely Beautiful and doing wonderfully! She had a slight respitory problem and stayed at the hospital until Monday, but was discharged and all is now well (pictures will follow).

When I got to the hospital on Thursday morning I was still 2cm dialated and my cervix was favorable, so my Dr. didn't think it would be a long delivery -- boy was she right They Started the pitocin at about 8:30am Thursday morning, by about 1:00 I had only progressed to 3cm. My Dr. came down at about 1:30 and broke my water to help things along. About 10 minutes later my contractions were really starting to get painful so they gave me some demoral. About 15 minutes after that I was at almost 5 so the nurse called my Dr. to find out if I could get my epidural, which she of course said definitely. The nurse left the room to get things set up and within five minutes I was telling my husband to get the nurse again I needed to push! The nurse came in and checked me and was in shock, I was complete and ready to push! She had me push one time and said, hold on, the head is almost there, we need to get your Dr.! My Dr. was there in two minutes in total shock, seven pushes later Brooke Lynnae was here!

Mentally I was not prepared for a natural child birth, but looking back now I can say I am so glad it happened that way. She is absolutely incredible and my recovery has been very easy. The worst part of my recovery has been from getting my tubes tied, not from having her

I will post pictures soon, but I wanted to let everyone know that she is hear and all is well. This group has meant so much to me, Lenore I do not know what I would have done without your support and advice, you are a very special person and your help throughout this last year has been appreciated more then I could ever tell you.

Take care everyone and I will post again soon.
