Nona, Way to go! I am glad that you are progressing as well as you are. Isn't it great to see our bodies respond in such a positive way. After not being able to even get pregnut I am thrilled that my body has been able to do so well on the protocols. May you continue to do so well. On Thursday of this week I too will start pumping. Your post encourages me and makes me less nervous to start pumping. I hope that I have as good of results as all of you. Keep up the good work.
Take Care, Bella

M, Nona is most certainly right, starting the protocol again would set you back. The birth control pill suppresses milk production, so you would lose the strides you have gained. Remember, it only takes 4 ounces a day for the baby to get all the immune benefits and you are almost there! Also, the baby nursing will extract much more milk than you get out with the pump. Keep up the good work,,,take care, Cathy

Thanks for the offer Nona, I may have to take you up on it, our paperwork is still being held up at the Embassy and we have not received our INS letter after 3.5 months of waiting. Everything always takes longer than expected. I will e-mail you with my address,,,thanks alot, and I am sooooo happy with your results! Take care, Cathy

Cathy, I really need to give the whittlestone a chance. I get frustrated with it. I know my breasts need to get used to it verses the PIS. But I can pump 15 minutes with the whittlestone and get a few drops. Where as I can use the PIS and get 1/2 ounce of milk right away. My milk is really slow to build. I am 6 weeks pumping and am almost at 4 ounces a day now. I really want to wait until I get a better supply before using only the whittlestone for a few days. I am just afraid at this point.. Since I am not getting anything out with it. I don't want to loose my supply trying it out for a few days.. Does that make sense? hugs to all Nona

Hello, Nona, it sounds like the Whittlestone is not working well for you now. I agree to use both to make sure you are draining your breasts well. I know your supply is slowly building, but 4 ounces a day is great. I had only pumped drops in the past, so to me 4 ounces seems like alot. Hang in there...any news on a new surrogate? take care, Cathy

No the surrogacy thing hasn't worked out for us. So we are looking into adoption again. She had messed up cycles and couldn't get pregnant. And most others want alot more money than we can afford. But we have a chance on a baby girl going to be born in July. Of course nothing for sure.

I pumped 5 ounces today! I am doing a few extra things to help it all along. I have been only doing extras for 2 days. And I jumped to 5 ounces. If it continues to build doing what I am doing. I will then post it. Hey Lenore!!! Great isn't it??!! hugs to all Nona
