I'm not sure if this question can be answered here,
I have read that the BCP will make my fibroids grow.
I have a bad reaction to clomid (estrogen) while on fertility drugs trying to get pregnant. I had the first set of fibroids removed with surgery (ouch!)
I tried clomid and IVF recently and grew new fibroids rapidly, I read there is a Mini Pill that does not contain Estrogen. Will this pill work well with the regular protocol, or do i need estrogen?
Should I consider using Goats Rue instead?
Are there any women on this board who have had fibroids, took the pill and did not grow their fibroids?

For those of you interested in the answer to this question; I have it.
I asked my doctor today, and I also heard from Lenore. They essentially said the same thing.
YES, the fibroids will grow, or they MIGHT grow. They are fed by the estrogen and the progesterone in the pill, but the amounts are so small, the growth will be minimal. So no threat really.
I also have a natural cure for shrinking fibroids, I've tried it my self and it has proven to work. Take a tsp of Black Strap Molasses and a tsp of Apple Cider vinegar (YES, it's yuk tasting) take this 3 times a day for three months and cut back the next month to twice a day, then once a day then once every other day etc...
In some cases the fibroids disappear altogether in other cases they shrink considerably, and some unfortunately do not respond to this cocktail, every-one is different.
I am one of the lucky ones, my fibroids have shrunk a lot.

I am so glad you heard from Lenore... she is so awsome!
Adoptive mommy to 4 , Last 2 adopted nursed. Youngest nursed till she was 5! Raising 2 grandbabies, as infants they were raised on donor breast milk
