Hi,

A question : Has anyone decreased the domp and still maintained their supply? I have been BF my DD for 8 months. It seems logical that my body would continue to produce milk after such a long period, even without the domp.

Secondly, I would appreciate any input on how to go off the domp while weaning from the breast. I am looking to stop around 11 months.

thanks ahead of time

You gradually decrease. I believe you drop 10mg every week and as soon as your supply starts to drop you add back in the last dropped amount so you ease yourself off. You maybe able to get all the way off Dom are you still taking herbs?

Yes I am still taking the herbs.

How would I measure a drop off in my milk supply? My DD getting fussy? I don't pump, and even when I did, it never seem to be very much ( maybe 3 oz from both breast) yet when my DD BF, she was content and growing well.

thanks for your input Lalle

Yes you would just watch her to see if she seemed to be not getting as much milk.
