Dear Group:

I hope this is the right place to post this question. I was able to achieve a full supply of breastmilk for my adopted newborn baby girl. She began solids at about seven months, and was weaned completely at about 13 months. She is healthy and very happy baby.

My question is this: I still have white droplets of milk in both breasts, but especially in my left breast. I have a bit of pain in the left breast at time, that feels as if I need to nurse a baby.

However, it has been about six months since I stopped taking the domperidone and herbs and weaned my little girl. I try not to squeeze or stimulate the breasts, but still I have full breasts and droplets.

My main reason for asking is I would like to have a thermography done or a mammogram, but wonder if something would show up because I still have milk in my breasts.

Any advice?

Blessings,
Spoon
