Has anyone tried goat's rue? It is supposed to build breast tissue. I couldn't stay on the BCP very long due to a medical problem, so I'm looking for alternatives. Just for reference, I also take 120 mg/day of dom., plus the recommended amts. of fenugreek and blessed thistle. Thanks so much for sharing your experience!

I too, am unable take the BCP, However, I e-mailed Lenore and shared with her my story and medical history and she seemed to think that I would have no issues using the Provera 2.5 progesterone pill. Seems like estrogen is what causes most of the issues and the provera is a VERY low dose estrogen. My ObGyn was very happy to prescribe this to me, but was hesitant with the BCP. When I thought I couldnt use any hormone, I was going to use the goats rue, even though is it SOO expensive. Maybe you could e-mail Lenore your situation and she may have some reccomendations. I am completing week two since started the modified regular protocol and I have not had any side effects. Hope this helps :o)

Thanks. I don't think that I'll go back on BCP or take progesterone. I have already completed that part of the protocol and I'm pumping 6 oz per day. My supply keeps increasing so far, so unless I hit a wall, I will continue pumping, taking dom. and supplements until we get a placement, which should be sometime in the fall. I might e-mail Lenore just to see if she has any suggestions, though. Good luck to you, and thanks for the suggestions.

Jenny - I think the goats rue is only necessary if you can't take the bcp's at all to build breast tissue. Since you are increasing nicely, I would skip the goats rue. See what Lenore says though.

What kind of problems were you having, bc I am curious? I'm wondering if I may not be able to take these any longer, they are making me severly anxious, and I am having a few heart palpitations, and cramping.

I have a really good question about goats rue, would it speed the process if I took the Goats Rue on top of the bcps and dom?
